New York City

If claustrophobic city streets are getting to you, head to this luxurious spa at the iconic Plaza Hotel. There you can knead away your worries with an amazing massage and a facial that’s sure to leave you feeling relaxed.

This Queens-based spa is an oasis with multiple New York-themed saunas including a fall in Central Park and skyline sauna as well as steam rooms, and outdoor hot tubs. Their day passes start at $50 during the week and are slightly higher on weekends.

Located on the Santa Ana Pueblo, this spa is the crown jewel of this Hyatt resort. You can immerse yourself in native culture while enjoying time-honored Tamayame cuisine or soaking in the resort’s multiple pools and saunas. Lily Galef, co-founder of the eponymous beauty and wellness brand Hilma, says the spa has a “luxe but subtle” feel.

This is the first U.S. location of QC spas (the others are dotted across the Italian Alps). The 13,000-square-foot complex the Well offers everything from ayurvedic teas and umami-broth soups to vibrational energy sessions and lunar Gong baths. Content strategist Clare Palo loves that QC’s spacious changing rooms make you feel like you are entering a grand house—right down to the Dyson hair dryers.
